Sanitary pads

I took a small car (Peugeot Partner) and went to change the seals on the refrigerator doors. In one place, the seal turned out to be 4 centimeters longer than it should be. Now I’m thinking… “Why is everything so messed up in this country?”

The second place is a popular chain restaurant. It’s interesting how social pressure works. The restaurants in that chain, which everyone seems to dislike, are always absolutely clean. The processes are organized in such a way that food never comes into contact with anything that isn’t food, and so on. Another chain, which everyone considers a “better alternative,” is simply much dirtier. Why is the floor so wet that when I kneel down, my knees get soaked immediately? Or why is a part of the refrigerator so dirty that I have to ask for it to be cleaned before I can put it back in place? And why do they give me a washing area just 30 centimeters away from raw and cut vegetables?

I installed a seal on the large cooling cabinet, and now the door won’t close. I called Houston, and they asked me to send photos. I spent half an hour trying to figure out why—there’s no explanation other than the fact that the new seal is just plain good, which has highlighted the old defect in the doors. I can’t think of anything else.

Then there’s the freezer. Another seal. The freezer is inside another freezer. I mean, the first one is around zero degrees, while the inner one is as cold as this equipment can get. It’s freezing in there. The rubber seal isn’t cooperating. I went out a few times to warm up, even though I was working in a fleece jacket and gloves.
