Our entire world is a dream of Superman. Thus, it is divided into three stages:
Superman still hasn’t realized that he’s dreaming, which is why he’s acting like everyone else.
Superman realizes that this is all just a dream and starts being Superman—flying around, shooting lasers from his eyes, bringing things to life, walking on water, stopping time, and breaking other laws of physics, all for his own amusement.
3. Superman, precisely because he realizes that this is a dream, eventually wakes up and the whole world disappears.
This is exactly what all the legends about the end of the world tell us. They say that something will come… and then that’s it — it’s the end.
