How can we tell if a person is acting according to their conscience or just because they are being watched? Will they behave well if there are no consequences for wrongdoing? How many of you steal when no one is watching? Almost none.
In other words, to identify the true righteous individuals in society, one must observe their behavior in such a way that they are unaware they are being watched, and one must free them from the thought of inevitable punishment.
It turns out that if people truly know that there is Heaven and Hell, and that there is an all-powerful and all-seeing God, it will be impossible to distinguish the righteous by conscience from the “righteous” by fear.
It turns out that if God exists, He must use all His omnipotence to ensure that no one knows about His existence and that there is no real evidence of it.
A truly faithful person, one who believes until the end, must believe, in this way, in the absence of God, for such is His will, such are the motives, and such are the facts.
