There is a kind of myth that a sales department can be built “turnkey” and handed over to the client. Moreover, books and seminars on “how to create a sales department” are quite popular. Why is it a myth?
Why doesn’t the Moon have an atmosphere? Because if it did, it would have evaporated. And why is there no life on Mercury? If there were, it would have burned up. And why is there no oxygen on Mars? If there were, it would have oxidized everything and turned into a bound state. No matter how many resources we invest in creating an atmosphere on the Moon, introducing life on Mercury, or pumping oxygen into Mars, the question will always be not about “how much it costs” or “how exactly” but about the planet itself. Its distance from the Sun, its gravity, and its biota that maintains the oxygen balance through photosynthesis.
If someone doesn’t have a sales department, can’t build one, has a sales team made up of ineffective and unmotivated people, or if the sales team has scattered, then attending seminars, reading books, or “buying a turnkey solution” is pointless. It’s all a waste of money and time, and even if there is a result, it will be temporary. It’s not the car’s fault that you crash into every pole if you occasionally manage to move from one spot to another. That’s the driver’s problem. You still have to pass the driving test.
