Where to find energy if you are in an energy drain?

If we are resorting to physical analogies, then the answer should also be sought in physics.

You can escape from a pit thanks to the “tunneling effect.” In life, this manifests as a situation where you stop striving for something, and it comes to you on its own. Perhaps your persistent desire to achieve something is actually pushing it away. Maybe the stars will align in such a way that luck will come to you effortlessly.

The second way to get out of a pit is to boost your energy through an external source. You need a tow. This isn’t always a physical tow, like a sponsor or a rope thrown into the pit. Often, it’s an emotional tow, like a loved one who cares for you. Just be careful not to drag your tow down into the pit with you.

It’s also important to understand that if the hardest times have come, and everything seems to be against you, and you’re not just fighting a problem but also the despair that has washed over you, then you are on the right path. How do you know, climbing a hill with your eyes closed, which way to go? You go the way that is harder. You go uphill.
