They said the air conditioner controller board burned out at the neighbors’. So, no need to go. I grabbed my tool bag, a new board, and headed to the neighboring building. I arrived. Alright. I went back to get a ladder. The ceiling. The air conditioner is in the ceiling. I climbed up, unscrewed the cover. The board. I’m replacing it. Hm, the fuse has blown too. Okay. I changed it. Put everything back together. I turn it on — it doesn’t work. The fuse blew again. Then some woman came in, saying her network isn’t working. Damn, I thought, what does that have to do with anything? I assured her that I was just dealing with the air conditioner.

A couple of minutes later, the UPSs started beeping. Then I went to the control panel. Aha, the differential has tripped. So, I really did knock out the power. I reset the differential. I disconnected the electric motor from the board. I turn it on — it doesn’t work. I sit and think… Ah, Semyon Semyonovich. I forgot to move one wire from the old board to the new one. I moved that jumper wire — I turn it on. It works, but it’s not humming. The motor is disconnected, after all. I check again — another fuse is blown.

In summary, the old board was working — it didn’t need to be replaced, but the motor was done for. But that’s not for this time. He rolled up and left.
